Overview

HKUST Summer School welcomes undergraduate students from institutions outside Hong Kong to study at HKUST in the summer.

The program aims to create a rewarding summer experience for students around the world. Students can participate in the program for either 4 or 8 weeks. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate-level, credit-bearing courses taught by HKUST faculty and opportunities to participate in local excursions and cultural activities that enable students to gain insight into the region.

The amount will be deducted accordingly for students who choose not to live in University housing or if you do not need a student visa to study in Hong Kong.

Refund Policy

Accommodation

All students will be accommodated in on-campus university housing (shared room). For more information on housing facilities and residential life, please visit the Student Housing and Residential Life Office  website.

Credit and Transcripts

Students enrolling in one Session can take 1-2 UG-level courses, while students enrolling in two Sessions can take a maximum of 3 UG-level courses. Academic transcripts will be issued by HKUST upon program completion.

The home institution will determine the credit transfer in accordance to the home institution’s credit transfer policies.
